On October 14, 2026, E.A.Makarenko, Director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI), attended the presentation of the book \u00abDear Mother\u2026 A Son\u2019s Prayer\u00bb by Mikhail Poznyakov<\/strong> \u2014 a prose writer, publicist, linguist, Honored Cultural Figure of the Republic of Belarus, and Chairman of the Minsk City Branch of the Union of Writers of Belarus. The event was organized by the staff of the Yanka Kupala Central City Library<\/strong> and the \u00abFrom Heart to Heart\u00bb (Ad sertsda da sertsda) Minsk City Poetry Theater<\/strong>, and was held in conjunction with the annual Mother\u2019s Day<\/strong> celebrations.<\/p>\n

Mikhail Poznyakov\u2019s new book, \u00abDear Mother\u2026 A Son\u2019s Prayer\u00bb, is a deeply personal, poetic, and lyrical collection entirely dedicated to the image of a mother and the gratitude of a son. For the poet, the image of his mother serves as a \u00abguiding star\u00bb\u2014a compass and a source of spiritual richness. The book is imbued with a gentle, luminous melancholy and memories of the person most dear to him\u2014a figure whose presence and melodic voice remain in his heart forever. In their tone, the poems in this collection resemble a quiet, sincere prayer that resonates with every reader.<\/p>\n

A significant highlight of the evening was a meeting between the BGAMLI Director and the renowned Belarusian musician, composer, and People\u2019s Artist of Belarus, Eduard Khanok<\/strong>. During a warm, creative exchange, preliminary agreements were reached regarding the future transfer of the maestro\u2019s personal documents and materials to the archive-museum for permanent preservation.<\/p>\n
