A presentation of the joint exhibition project \u00abOne People. One Labor Feat\u00bb<\/strong> \u2014 organized by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (NARB) and the Belarusian State Archives of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> (BGAKFFD) \u2014took place at the Business and Cultural Complex of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia<\/strong> (Moscow).<\/p>\n

The exhibition was unveiled to the general public on September 18, 2026, as part of the celebratory events marking National Unity Day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Thematically, the exhibition comprises three conceptual sections. The first section features documents from the NARB collections that illustrate the process of reuniting Western Belarus with the BSSR in the autumn of 1939. Authentic artifacts from the era include leaflets, minutes, directives, memoranda, and rare photographs. A place of honor in the exhibition is rightfully given to the Declaration on the Incorporation of Western Belarus into the BSSR, adopted at the People’s Assembly in Bia\u0142ystok on October 29, 1939. A separate display case is dedicated to the biography of Alexandra Ivanovna Fedosyuk\u2014a member of the Communist Party of Western Belarus (KPZB), a deputy to the People’s Assembly, and an authorized representative\u2014who emerged as a prominent figure in the reunification of the Belarusian people.<\/p>\n

The second section consists of seven display panels from the exhibition \u00abLet\u2019s Rebuild Belarus Together!\u00bb (Vosstanovim Belarus Vmeste!), which chronicles the post-war economic recovery achieved through the selfless labor of residents from both the eastern and western regions of the republic.<\/p>\n

The third section featured the documentary film \u00abReunification\u00bb<\/strong>, produced as part of the \u00abOpen Film Archive\u00bb<\/strong> project. The documentary footage, drawn from the unique collections of the BGAKFFD, chronicles the Red Army\u2019s liberation campaign, the establishment of Soviet administrative bodies, and the country\u2019s long-awaited reunification.<\/p>\n

Yu.M.Seliverstov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation<\/strong>, addressed the event participants with welcoming remarks and congratulations.<\/p>\n

At the exhibition opening, guests heard presentations by K.E.Gavrilenko, Lead Archivist of the Publications Department at NARB<\/strong>, and M.V.Garelik, Deputy Head of the Department for the Use of Documents and Information at BGAKFFD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The evening continued with a celebratory concert.<\/p>\n
