In her address, Nataliya Buloychik recalled the key historical events associated with September 17, 1939\u2014the date marking the beginning of the reunification of Western Belarus with the Byelorussian SSR. She also emphasized that achieving national unity helped the Belarusian people endure the Great Patriotic War and laid a solid foundation for building the sovereign, independent Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abThe date of September 17 brings us back to pivotal chapters of our history, reminding us of the restoration of historical justice when the Belarusian people\u2014divided against their will\u2014became united once more.
