{"id":1025482,"date":"2026-09-17T10:54:47","date_gmt":"2026-09-17T07:54:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1025482"},"modified":"2026-09-17T10:54:47","modified_gmt":"2026-09-17T07:54:47","slug":"the-countrys-strength-lies-in-unity-patriotic-events-marking-national-unity-day-held-at-the-gomel-region-archive-of-public-associations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1025482","title":{"rendered":"\u00abThe Country&#8217;s Strength Lies in Unity\u00bb: Patriotic Events Marking National Unity Day Held at the Gomel Region Archive of Public Associations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On September 15\u201316, 2026, <strong>the \u00abState Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region\u00bb<\/strong> hosted a series of patriotic events titled <strong>\u00abThe Country&#8217;s Strength Lies in Unity\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to <strong>National Unity Day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Participants included students from <strong>the Gomel State Culinary College<\/strong>, <strong>the Gomel State Machine-Building College<\/strong>, and <strong>the Gomel State College of Transport and Transport Communications<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As part of these patriotic gatherings, screenings of the documentary film <strong>\u00abReunification\u00bb<\/strong>\u2014produced by <strong>the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> under the national <strong>\u00abOpen Film Archive\u00bb<\/strong> project\u2014were organized for the students.<\/p>\n<p>Archive staff provided a detailed overview of the key historical background and the momentous significance of September 17, 1939. Special attention was paid to the events that represented an act of supreme historical justice: the reunification of Western and Eastern Belarus.
