{"id":1025248,"date":"2026-08-28T09:43:18","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T06:43:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1025248"},"modified":"2026-08-28T09:43:32","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T06:43:32","slug":"guardians-of-values-and-traditions-how-archives-and-departmental-museums-collaborate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1025248","title":{"rendered":"Guardians of Values and Traditions: How Archives and Departmental Museums Collaborate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On August 27, 2026, employees of <strong>the Zonal State Archives in Zhlobin<\/strong> participated in an off-site seminar and workshop entitled <strong>\u00abConnecting Generations: The Corporate Museum as a Guardian of Values and Traditions\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event was held at the Zhlobin Locomotive Depot of the Gomel Branch of the Belarusian Railways.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oksana Nikolaevna Pavlyukova<\/strong>, Head of the Document Accounting, Preservation, and Use Department, presented a paper entitled <strong>\u00abArchival Documents as the Main Witness and Exhibit of an Enterprise Museum\u00bb<\/strong>. The presentation concluded with a screening of the film <strong>\u00abIndependence Day: A Chronicle of Belarusian Statehood\u00bb<\/strong>, produced by <strong>the Belarusian State Archives and Film Documents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the seminar, participants explored the corporate museum&#8217;s experience in preserving historical heritage, promoting professional traditions, and fostering patriotic education among youth.
