It was prepared by specialists from <strong>the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Audio Documentation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The film&#8217;s narrative covers both heroic and dramatic chapters of national history: from the vicissitudes of World War I, the Soviet modernization projects of the 1920s and 1930s, and the reunification of the Belarusian lands in 1939 to the anti-fascist resistance, post-war reconstruction of the national economy, and the accelerated industrial development of the 1960s and 1970s.<\/p>\n<p>A significant place in the plot is devoted to the events associated with the acquisition and consolidation of Belarus&#8217;s independence, as well as the decisive role of <strong>the head of state, Alexander Lukashenko<\/strong>, in these political processes. <strong>BelNIIDAD<\/strong> Director <strong>A.E.Rybakov<\/strong> stated that videos of this genre are an effective tool for communicating the values of civil society, fulfilling a patriotic educational function for the younger generation, and simultaneously serving as a powerful means of popularizing the documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On August 18, 2026, a group screening of the documentary \u00abIndependence Day: Chronicles of Belarusian Statehood\u00bb was held at the BelNIIDAD.
