On August 11, 2026, under the leadership of O.L.Voinov<\/strong>, Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management<\/strong>, a training and methodological meeting on accounting and reporting was held for the heads and chief accountants of national archival institutions. The meeting was conducted by I.Yu.Sargan<\/strong>, Deputy Head of Organizational and Analytical Work, Financing, and Accounting.<\/p>\n

The meeting’s agenda included issues related to accounting organization, the management and write-off of state property under the operational management of national archival institutions, a summary of the first half of the year, and an analysis of violations based on the audit of economic and financial activities at the National Historical Archives of Belarus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

O.L.Voinov<\/strong>, Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management<\/strong>, delivered the opening remarks. In his report, he noted that this training and methodological meeting was being held for the first time and would become a regular platform for sharing experiences and jointly analyzing problems that would improve the quality of planning and budget execution in each national archival institution.<\/p>\n

During the event, I.Yu.Sargan<\/strong>, Deputy Head of the Department of Organizational and Analytical Work, Financing, and Accounting, summarized the work for the first half of the year and analyzed violations identified during the audit of the state institution \u00abNational Historical Archives of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong>. Typical violations in the submission of quarterly reports and the execution of budget estimates were also discussed, and current issues regarding the management of state property were considered.<\/p>\n

Continuing with the topic of property management procedures, a co-report on \u00abWrite-off of property owned by the Republic of Belarus and under the operational management of national archival institutions\u00bb<\/strong> was presented, prepared by A.A.Novitskaya,<\/strong> Chief Accountant of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Problematic issues were resolved through constructive dialogue.<\/p>\n

Following the collection, I.Yu.Sargan<\/strong> outlined measures to prevent violations and improve the quality of accounting work. Department Director O.L.Voinov<\/strong> concluded by setting objectives aimed at ensuring the timely and high-quality disbursement of funds in the second half of the financial year.<\/p>\n
