From June 29 to July 2, 2026, second-year students of the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State University<\/strong> majoring in History conducted an archival internship at the National Historical Archives of Belarus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The students learned about the history, structure, and composition of the collections, the functions of the institution’s departments, document preservation measures, and the operation of archival repositories.<\/p>\n

As part of individual assignments, the interns were involved in various archival work activities, such as searching for biographical data in response to socio-legal inquiries, digitizing archival documents, and working in archival repositories.<\/p>\n

During the internship, the students gained a comprehensive understanding of the archive’s operations and valuable experience working with original documents. They also assessed the potential of using NAHB<\/strong> materials in educational, research, and excursion and local history work.<\/p>\n
