The Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI)<\/strong> received a letter of gratitude from the Belarusian Union of Cinematographers for its assistance in organizing and hosting a memorial evening dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Belarusian cinematographer and Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Belarus, Oleg Tikhonovich Avdeyev<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The gala evening received media coverage. During the event, leading archivist at the BSAMLI, Tatyana Aleksandrovna Anpilogova<\/strong>, gave an interview to a correspondent from the Belarus 3<\/strong> TV channel and the Minsk-Novosti<\/strong> news agency, in which she discussed the photographs on display from the archive-museum’s collection. These photographs capture moments of filming under difficult conditions, including rare footage of the cameraman working in river water. The interview focused on the history of the formation of Family Collection No.366 of film scholar Efrosinya Leonidovna Bondareva<\/strong> and Oleg Tikhonovich Avdeyev<\/strong>. The couple personally donated documents to the archive-museum for safekeeping between 1992 and 1996.<\/p>\n
