On June 23, 2026, as part of activities aimed at fulfilling the instructions of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on optimizing document flow in national government bodies, a practical class on \u00abPractical Approaches to Optimizing Document Generation and Document Flow\u00bb<\/strong> was held at the Belarusian State Concern for the Production and Sale of Light Industry Goods<\/strong> (Bellegprom Concern). The class was attended by employees of the department’s documentation support service and those responsible for records management in the concern’s structural divisions.<\/p>\n

A.E.Rybakov, Director of the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Management<\/strong>, and L.N.Signevich, Lead Archivist of the Records Management and Formation Department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>, delivered lectures and presentations to the participants.<\/p>\n

A.E.Rybakov<\/strong>, drawing on the Institute’s Methodological Recommendations for Optimizing Document Generation and Document Flow in Government Agencies and Other Organizations<\/strong>, as well as accumulated experience analyzing document management processes in government agencies, explained the key approaches to organizing this work at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The focus was on implementing paperless information exchange on current management issues, minimizing official correspondence in interactions between the Ministry and subordinate organizations, streamlining the collection of reporting and reference documentation, and leveraging the capabilities of modern information and communication technologies, information systems, and information resources to optimize document generation and document flow.<\/p>\n

L.N.Signevich<\/strong> explained the legal requirements for organizing work with electronic documents<\/strong> and spoke to the audience about common mistakes encountered when creating electronic files in government agencies and other organizations, conducting expert assessments of the value of electronic documents, and selecting them for archival storage and destruction. Particular attention was paid to the need for close cooperation between organizations and developers of information systems where electronic documents are created, managed, and stored.<\/p>\n

Measures aimed at fulfilling the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus’s instruction to optimize document creation and document flow will continue.<\/p>\n
