{"id":1024219,"date":"2026-05-14T16:04:02","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T13:04:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1024219"},"modified":"2026-05-14T16:04:02","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T13:04:02","slug":"the-rechitsa-zonal-state-archives-presents-a-document-on-the-nazi-punitive-action-in-the-village-of-kobylevo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1024219","title":{"rendered":"The Rechitsa Zonal State Archives presents a document on the Nazi punitive action in the village of Kobylevo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>83 years ago, on May 14, 1943, <strong>the village of Kobylevo in the Vasilevichi District<\/strong> (now the village of Pervomaysk in the Rechitsa District) <strong>suffered the same fate as Khatyn<\/strong> \u2013 it was destroyed along with its inhabitants by the Nazi invaders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Rechitsa State Archives<\/strong>, in its collection of digital copies of documents of <strong>the Extraordinary State Commission of the USSR for the Investigation of the Crimes of Fascism<\/strong>, holds the interrogation report of witness <strong>Nikolai Grigorievich Bely<\/strong> (F. 864, Op. 1, D. 5, L. 19-20). During the interrogation, the young man recounted Nazi atrocities against his fellow villagers and how they attempted to kill him, but Nikolai feigned death. Afterward, wounded and burned, he managed to escape the burning village.
