These events, organized to perpetuate the memory of the heroic deeds of Soviet soldiers, took place at several educational institutions in the city, reaching a wide audience of schoolchildren and students.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities of the Zonal State Archives in Polotsk included visits to <strong>I.E.Alekseyev Basic School No.12 in Polotsk, M.S.Grinevich Secondary School No.14 in Polotsk, Polotsk State Forestry College, and Polotsk State Gymnasium No.2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The central element of each information hour was a screening of <strong>the documentary film \u00abHero Fortress\u00bb<\/strong>.
