The newsreel provided rare footage and evidence of the first, most difficult days of the war, reflecting the unparalleled courage and fortitude of Soviet soldiers.<\/p>\n<p>During the meetings, Sergei Ryndin emphasized the special importance of preserving the truth about the events of the summer of 1941. The discussion with young people touched on the topics of historical continuity, patriotism, and the importance of archival documents as the main tool in the fight against the distortion of history.
