{"id":1023831,"date":"2026-04-25T14:58:11","date_gmt":"2026-04-25T11:58:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1023831"},"modified":"2026-04-25T14:58:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-25T11:58:11","slug":"on-the-holding-of-thematic-events-at-educational-institutions-dedicated-to-the-chernobyl-tragedy-by-the-state-archives-of-the-mogilev-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1023831","title":{"rendered":"On the holding of thematic events at educational institutions dedicated to the Chernobyl tragedy by the State Archives of the Mogilev Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the lead-up to <strong>the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident<\/strong>, the staff of <strong>the State Archives of the Mogilev Region<\/strong> organized and held <strong>thematic events dedicated to the commemorative date of April 26, 1986<\/strong>, at <strong>the Mogilev Trade College branch of the Belarusian Trade and Industrial-Technological University and the Mogilev State Economics, Industrial and Technological College<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the events, students were presented with <strong>a virtual exhibition, \u00abChernobyl \u2013 a Long Pain&#8230;\u00bb<\/strong>, based on archival documents and describing the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster for the Mogilev Region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The documentary film \u00abChernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy\u00bb, produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong>, was also shown.
