Living Land\u00bb, timed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by <strong>Olga Dvoretskaya, Head of the Document Preservation, State Records, and Scientific Reference Department of the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno<\/strong>, and <strong>Darya Kataeva, an archivist in the Records Management and Formation Department of the National Archival Fund<\/strong>. Both employees are members of the regional branch of the public association \u00abBelaya Rus\u00bb, which initiated the group cinema visit.<\/p>\n<p>The film \u00abChernobyl. Living Land\u00bb is more than just a documentary chronicle or a list of facts about the consequences of the accident. This is a profound story about the resilience of nature, which, despite radiation and desolation, managed to revive itself, and about the courage of the people whose lives were tied to the exclusion zone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>After the screening, a meeting was held with a liquidator of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.<\/strong> This lively dialogue with a man who witnessed those events with his own eyes and participated in the cleanup efforts made a special impression on the audience.
