On April 22, 2026, via videoconference \u00abThe International Belarusian-Perm Dialogue Platform\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Genocide of the Soviet People during the Great Patriotic War<\/strong>, was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (NARB).<\/p>\n

Welcoming remarks were addressed by Anastasia Subbotina, Director of the Department of National and Religious Relations of the Perm Krai Governor’s Administration; Natalya Novikova, Head of the Perm Krai Archives Agency; Aleksey Tsvetkov, Deputy Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus; and Mikhail Chavlytko, Chairman of the public organization \u00abAssociation of Belarusians of the Perm Krai\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A.E.Tsvetkov<\/strong> noted the importance of discussing the stated topic of the genocide of the Soviet people, as it is a common theme for both countries. He also emphasized that constructive cooperation between archivists from Belarus and Perm has already been established in many areas, including participation in conferences, the preparation of joint exhibition projects, and more.<\/p>\n

On the Belarusian side, Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, PhD in History S.V. Kulinok<\/strong>, presented a report entitled \u00abPublishing Projects of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus on the Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Finally, the parties discussed a joint action plan for 2026 and expressed a shared view on the importance of cooperation in various areas of archival work.<\/p>\n
