{"id":1023572,"date":"2026-04-09T17:03:51","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T14:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1023572"},"modified":"2026-04-09T17:03:51","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T14:03:51","slug":"commemorative-events-dedicated-to-the-international-day-of-liberation-of-nazi-concentration-camp-prisoners-were-held-at-the-state-archives-of-public-associations-of-the-gomel-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1023572","title":{"rendered":"Commemorative events dedicated to the International Day of Liberation of Nazi Concentration Camp Prisoners were held at the State Archives of Public Associations of the Gomel Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On April 8 and 9, 2026, <strong>the State Archives of Public Associations of the Gomel Region<\/strong> held <strong>commemorative events titled \u00abThey Believed in Victory\u00bb<\/strong> for students of <strong>the Gomel State College of Culinary Arts and the Gomel State College of Consumer Services<\/strong>, dedicated to <strong>the International Day of Liberation of Nazi Concentration Camp Prisoners<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the events, students were introduced to authentic archival documents, including the memoirs of General P.I. Batov about the events related to the liberation of the Ozarichi camp prisoners. Archivists also presented the memoirs of former underage prisoners and eyewitness accounts of those terrible years.
