{"id":1023505,"date":"2026-04-03T13:04:38","date_gmt":"2026-04-03T10:04:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1023505"},"modified":"2026-04-03T13:04:38","modified_gmt":"2026-04-03T10:04:38","slug":"on-the-mogilev-region-state-archives-events-dedicated-to-the-day-of-unity-of-the-peoples-of-belarus-and-russia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1023505","title":{"rendered":"On the Mogilev Region State Archives&#8217; Events Dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On April 2, 2026, <strong>the Mogilev Region State Archives<\/strong> hosted a series of events dedicated to <strong>the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the reading room, young archive staff learned about the history of this memorable date, as well as joint Belarusian-Russian archival projects.<\/p>\n<p>A presentation of documentary and virtual exhibitions dedicated to the archive&#8217;s founders \u2013 Russian-born women who have achieved professional success in Belarus \u2013 was also held in the assembly hall for students majoring in acting at <strong>the Mogilev State College of Arts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anna Ivanovna Mishina (Dudina)<\/strong> was born in Urzhum, Kirov Region. She completed a pilot instructor course in 1939. After Germany invaded the Soviet Union, she enlisted as an air ambulance pilot, and in 1943, she began flying combat missions with the 46th Guards Taman Women&#8217;s Night Bomber Regiment. She participated in the liberation of Belarus, Poland, and East Germany. After the war, she moved to Mogilev and worked as a flight instructor at an aeroclub.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elena Ivanovna Savosina<\/strong> was born in Spassk, Ryazan Oblast. In 1948, she graduated from the Moscow Historical and Archival Institute and moved to Mogilev, where she headed departments of the State Archives of the Mogilev Region.
