{"id":1023482,"date":"2026-04-02T11:53:19","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T08:53:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1023482"},"modified":"2026-04-02T11:53:19","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T08:53:19","slug":"bgamli-staff-congratulated-the-maxim-bogdanovich-literary-museum-on-its-45th-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1023482","title":{"rendered":"BGAMLI staff congratulated the Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum on its 45th anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On April 1, 2026, staff of <strong>the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) took part in <strong>a celebratory event to mark the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum<\/strong>, a long-standing partner of the archive-museum. <strong>The presentation of the exhibition \u00abWe Are the Museum\u00bb<\/strong> was held as part of the celebration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The museum&#8217;s director, Mikhail Baranovsky<\/strong>, and <strong>leading researcher, Irina Myshkovets<\/strong>, recounted the history of its creation and development, which began on April 1, 1981. Many items related to the poet&#8217;s life and work had already been transferred to the repositories of other institutions in Belarus and abroad, as well as private family archives. Therefore, the search for and collection of materials became the museum&#8217;s primary focus. Thanks to the dedicated work of its research staff, as well as fruitful collaboration with relatives, scholars, writers, and enthusiastic amateurs, the museum&#8217;s collections have expanded over its 45-year history with a wide variety of museum items, currently totaling over 22,000 items.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of Belarusian museum and archival institutions gathered to congratulate their colleagues. In her welcoming remarks, <strong>Natalia Mizon, leading archivist at the Belarusian State Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong>, spoke about the long-standing collaboration and successful projects implemented with the Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Irina Myshkovets, curator of the exhibition \u00abWe Are the Museum\u00bb<\/strong>, presented an exhibit dedicated to the invaluable role of the museum&#8217;s founders. These are the iconic individuals who have been involved in the honorable task of enriching the museum&#8217;s treasures for over four decades. Among them are Nina Vatatsi, Anastasia, Arkady, and Maxim Barakhovich, Natalya Kuntsevich, Nikolai Gryaznov, Nina Debolskaya, Nikolai Lileev, Vitaly Moos, Ludvika Sivitskaya, and Mikhail Pozdnyakov. The exhibition features their portraits and unique items they donated to the museum for safekeeping.<\/p>\n<p>The anniversary of the Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum and the presentation of the exhibition \u00abWe Are the Museum\u00bb are vivid proof that the memory of great creators lives on and grows thanks to the dedicated work of their curators.
