The topic was <strong>\u00abFinding the Unknown Soldier: The Search for Unknown Heroes Who Died in the Battles for the Grodno Region During the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Lyudmila Gorbach, Director of the Grodno Region Public Associations Archive, presented a report entitled <strong>\u00abPreserving the Memory of the Great Patriotic War in the Collections of the Grodno Region Public Associations Archive\u00bb<\/strong>, displaying documents from Party and Komsomol bodies, as well as public organizations and personal collections.<\/p>\n<p>During the roundtable, participants discussed search efforts to identify the burial sites and names of soldiers killed during the Great Patriotic War and methods for searching for soldiers killed in battle in the Grodno region. The work of veterans&#8217; organizations in locating and perpetuating the names of fallen Soviet Army soldiers was discussed.
