On March 20, 2026, the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BSAML) presented its publication, \u00abTreasury of National Literature and Art\u00bb<\/strong>, at the XXXIII Minsk International Book Fair<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The treasury, published in 2025, presents the most interesting and rare documents and museum exhibits held at the BSAML. Among them are autographs from the A.K. Yelsky collection, a handwritten version of the magazine \u00abGoman\u00bb, manuscripts, photographs, and objects from the manuscript department of the Ivan Lukevich Belarusian Museum in Vilnius, and numerous visual, epistolary, and creative sources from the collections of Belarusian writers, artists, composers, directors, and actors.<\/p>\n

The first edition of \u00abSkarbnitsa\u00bb was published in 2010 and quickly became a rare find. The second edition was significantly revised. It included documents from filmmakers, musical manuscripts, and sketches, and expanded the list of writers and artists whose contributions enrich our understanding of Belarusian cultural figures of the last two centuries.<\/p>\n

The presentation was attended by the authors and compilers E.A.Makarenko, T.V.Kekeleva, and V.V.Birulya<\/strong>, the publication’s editorial board, and specially invited guests, including experts in the history of archival science, literature, and art\u2014writer V.S.Lipsky, BSU professor M.F.Shumeiko, and leading researcher A.V.Trofimchik of the National Art Museum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In her speech, author-compiler and director of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> (BSAMLI), E.A.Makarenko<\/strong>, noted that \u00abSkarbnitsa\u00bb reflects the fruitful work of several generations of archive-museum staff. She described the current state of the BSAMLI, which celebrated its 65th anniversary in 2025, and invited creative individuals and researchers to join its users.<\/p>\n
