{"id":1023326,"date":"2026-03-23T11:05:47","date_gmt":"2026-03-23T08:05:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1023326"},"modified":"2026-03-23T11:05:47","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T08:05:47","slug":"the-krichev-zonal-state-archives-held-events-as-part-of-the-national-archives-for-school-and-young-archivist-campaigns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1023326","title":{"rendered":"The Krichev Zonal State Archives held events as part of the national \u00abArchives for School\u00bb and \u00abYoung Archivist\u00bb campaigns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the eve of <strong>the 83rd anniversary of the Khatyn tragedy<\/strong>, <strong>Victoria Kondratenko, lead archivist at the Krichev Zonal State Archives<\/strong>, held <strong>a historical informational hour, \u00abThe Bells of Khatyn Ring\u00bb<\/strong>, on February 20, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Students from Class 8B of <strong>Secondary School No.1 in Krichev<\/strong> gathered to remember the horrific events of March 1943, when the Nazis burned alive all the inhabitants of the Belarusian village of Khatyn. The students learned about the fate of the village of Antonovka in the Krichev District, which shared the tragic fate of Khatyn.<\/p>\n<p>The event featured a slide presentation and videos, <strong>\u00abKhatyn Museum\u00bb, \u00abKhatyn Village\u00bb, and \u00abDeath Conveyor Belt\u00bb<\/strong>, which vividly illustrated the scale of the tragedy.
