The exhibition took place at <strong>the National History Museum of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> and commemorates one of the largest and most tragic events of World War I in Belarusian lands \u2013 <strong>the 110th anniversary of the Naroch Offensive Operation (March 1916)<\/strong>. Bloody, large-scale battles unfolded in the area of Lake Naroch, tying down significant German forces and preventing them from achieving a decisive victory in France, at Verdun. The Naroch Offensive became an example of the dedication of soldiers and officers, directly influencing the course of the entire European campaign. The experience gained at Naroch was later used by General A.A.Brusilov during the preparations for the famous Brusilov Offensive.
