On March 13, 2026, at the initiative of the management of the National Historical Archives of Belarus<\/strong>, representatives of the archive’s youth group participated in a screening of the feature documentary film \u00abThe Constitution of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong>, which was shown at the Moscow Cinema <\/strong>(13 Pobediteley Avenue). The event was timed to coincide with the national holiday, Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (March 15), and was part of a large-scale national program for the civic and patriotic education of youth.<\/p>\n

Young archivists watched a documentary film dedicated to the history of the creation and key stages of the development of the country’s Basic Law. The organization of such events is part of the archive’s management’s systematic work on civic and patriotic education of youth.<\/p>\n

National Historical Archives of Belarus Director Mikhail Glushakov<\/strong> emphasized the significance of the initiative: \u00abParticipation in this film screening is our contribution to developing a conscious attitude toward public holidays among young professionals. For an archivist, the Constitution is not just a legal act, but the result of a centuries-long historical journey. We believe it’s important that our staff not only work with documents from the past but also deeply understand the legal foundations of the present. This helps young people feel a sense of personal responsibility for preserving Belarus’s national heritage and traditions\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n

For young archivists, the screening was an opportunity not only to reinforce their knowledge of the state’s legal foundation but also to discuss current topics of personal responsibility and protection from modern information threats.<\/p>\n
