The State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region<\/strong> held a themed event, \u00abWe Are Proud of Our Country\u00bb<\/strong>, for students from the Gomel State Culinary College<\/strong>, Gomel State Mechanical Engineering College<\/strong>, and Gomel State College of Consumer Services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the event, archivists reminded the students of the history of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, its amendments, its purpose, and its role in modern society. The students studied the structure of the Constitution, discussed the fundamental rights, freedoms, and responsibilities of citizens of the Republic of Belarus, and participated in the quiz, \u00abDo You Know the Law?\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, the archive staff discussed in detail Article 15 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus: \u00abThe State shall ensure the preservation of historical truth and the memory of the heroic deeds of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The events concluded with a screening of the documentary film \u00ab30 Years of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb, produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, and a tour of the archive.<\/p>\n
