On February 23, our country celebrates Defenders of the Fatherland and Armed Forces Day<\/strong>. The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (hereinafter NARB) traditionally held an event dedicated to this holiday.<\/p>\n

The morning at the archive began with a concert organized by the musical group \u00abKumushki\u00bb<\/strong>. Patriotic, military, and thematic songs dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland were performed for the men.<\/p>\n

NARB Director A.K.Demyanyuk, NARB Deputy Director E.A.Stukanova, Chairperson of the Primary Trade Union Organization T.A.Shevchenko, Chairperson of the Primary Organization of the Belarusian Union of Women M.A. Starostenko, and Secretary of the Primary Organization of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union A.Yu.Plytnik<\/strong> addressed the men with congratulatory remarks. Participants of the \u00abPositive\u00bb photo workshop at the Yanka Kupala Central Library in Minsk<\/strong>, with whom NARB has established a fruitful collaboration, also came to congratulate the men of the archive. Lyudmila Bondar<\/strong>, one of the participants in this project, read a poem she had composed:<\/p>\n

Archive<\/strong><\/p>\n

We can reveal secrets,
\nWhen we open these doors.
\nAnd secrets can disturb,
\nAnd can arouse feelings.
\nFrom respect to delight,
\nFrom admiration to bargaining
\nFor a scrap of information,
\nWhat we found\u2014and silence,
\nStopped this until the time,
\nWhen the time comes, and this knowledge calls,
\nAnd it will be possible to apply it,
\nBut not suddenly, immediately,
\nCarefully, having checked everything and
\nEnsuring that it is not false.
\nThere may be no witnesses to the events,
\nBut the documents are witnesses,
\nWhich cannot be killed!<\/em><\/p>\n

As part of the celebration, the men of the archive took part in a bowling competition. The main goal of the tournament was not so much to identify the strongest bowlers, but to strengthen the spirit of camaraderie and mutual support among the men, preparing them for any challenge.<\/p>\n

The sports competition was held with the support of the primary trade union organization of the National Archives of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

The competition was held in the best traditions of competition, demonstrating that the men of the archive are ready for any challenge, both in and outside of the workplace.<\/p>\n

Dear men and colleagues! Thank you for your reliability, courage, and professionalism. We wish you good health, good luck, the achievement of lofty goals, and a peaceful sky. May success accompany you at work, and comfort and love await you at home. Happy holidays!<\/strong><\/p>\n
