Seventh-grade students, along with their geography teacher, began working with documents in the State Archives reading room as part of their research project on the history of their native region.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb campaign and the \u00abYoung Archivist\u00bb project, the students and their mentor were given a guided tour of the archives. Staff explained the institution&#8217;s history, the composition of its collections, the storage conditions for its files, and more. The students were also shown the new exhibition <strong>\u00abThe Forties, Fateful, Military, and Frontline&#8230;\u00bb<\/strong>, prepared for the 85th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, career guidance and career choices were discussed.
