On the eve of Internationalist Warriors’ Remembrance Day<\/strong>, a series of events were held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as NARB).<\/p>\n

On February 13, 2026, a ceremonial meeting was held between the NARB staff and S.V. Popov, a veteran of the Afghan War and Chairman of the Minsk City Organization of Border Guard Veterans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

NARB Director A.K. Demyanyuk<\/strong> addressed the gathering with a welcoming address. He spoke about the importance of preserving the historical memory of those events and noted the great care and support the Belarusian state provides to those who fought in the Afghan War.<\/p>\n

S.V. Popov shared his memories of those events and answered questions from the archivists.<\/p>\n

On February 15, 2026, NARB Chief Engineer V.A.Baranov<\/strong> took part in official events held on the Island of Courage and Sorrow<\/strong> dedicated to Internationalist Warriors’ Remembrance Day.<\/p>\n
