On January 29, 2026, a meeting between Sergei Chertkov, Chairman of the Mogilev City Executive Committee, and young industrial professionals<\/strong> took place at the State Archives of the Mogilev Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Svetlana Sharaeva, Director of the State Archives of the Mogilev Region<\/strong>, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. In her speech, she described the archive’s activities and the documents stored in its collections.<\/p>\n

Aleksey Shvyryov, Lead Archivist of the Department of Scientific Use of Documents and Information<\/strong>, addressed the audience, discussing the heraldic symbols of the Republic of Belarus and the city of Mogilev. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of respecting the heraldic symbols of Belarus, which reflect the history, culture, and unwavering spirit of the people. The symbols of Mogilev highlight the city’s uniqueness and embody the cohesion and unity of its residents.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, participants were given a tour of the documentary and banner exhibitions, created using archival documents and reflecting the history of the Mogilev Region. Guests also visited the archival repository, where they were able to see firsthand the modern document storage conditions that allow for the preservation of historical memory for future generations.<\/p>\n

The event allowed young professionals not only to directly communicate with city leaders and discuss all matters of interest but also to learn about the history of the Mogilev Region through archival documents.<\/p>\n
