{"id":1022626,"date":"2026-01-26T09:21:19","date_gmt":"2026-01-26T06:21:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1022626"},"modified":"2026-01-26T09:21:19","modified_gmt":"2026-01-26T06:21:19","slug":"on-a-master-class-on-working-with-archival-documents-at-the-state-archives-of-the-brest-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1022626","title":{"rendered":"On a Master Class on Working with Archival Documents at the State Archives of the Brest Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On January 16, 2026,<strong> the archive&#8217;s reading room at 8 Engels Street<\/strong> was visited by 8th-grade students from the State Educational Institution <strong>\u00abBrest Gymnasium No.6 named after Marshal of the Soviet Union G.K.Zhukov\u00bb<\/strong> <strong>V.Demchenko, N.Zhuk, V.Zhulego<\/strong>, and history teacher <strong>Yu.V.Karabanyuk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Under the teacher&#8217;s guidance, the students <strong>conducted research on the topic \u00abSpiritual Heritage of the Brest Region\u00bb<\/strong> to participate in <strong>the national \u00abSchool of Peace\u00bb project and the national competition of social youth projects \u00abYouth of Belarus for Life, Morality, and Family Values\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the <strong>\u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, <strong>reading room staff member Veronika Krishchenko<\/strong> held a master class for budding researchers on identifying archival documents on their topic of study, sharing practical skills in searching and analyzing archival data with the participants.
