{"id":1022517,"date":"2026-01-15T12:20:40","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T09:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1022517"},"modified":"2026-01-15T13:03:58","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T10:03:58","slug":"2025-results-and-new-horizons-for-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1022517","title":{"rendered":"2025 Results and New Horizons for 2026 (the Zonal State Archives in Polotsk)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On January 14, 2026, <strong>a general meeting of the archive staff<\/strong> was held at <strong>the Zonal State Archives in Polotsk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Participating via videoconference were <strong>Tatyana Vladimirovna Ryabtsevich<\/strong>, Consultant of the Department of Records Management, Formation, and Preservation of the National Archival Fund of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus;<strong> Marina Fedorovna Bykova<\/strong>, First Deputy Head of the Main Justice Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee; and <strong>Oksana Vasilyevna Pashkevich<\/strong>, Deputy Head of the Department of State Registration of Commercial (Non-Commercial) Organizations, Legal Expertise, and Organization of Archival Institutions of the Main Justice Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lyudmila Viktorovna Lazarenok, Director of the State Archives<\/strong>, delivered a report summarizing the archive&#8217;s work in 2025 and setting goals for 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Lyudmila Viktorovna noted that despite the challenges associated with the major renovation, the archive&#8217;s staff successfully completed the tasks and met planned targets. She emphasized the importance of teamwork and employee initiative.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the 2026 goals, Lyudmila Viktorovna outlined the need for continued work to eliminate the backlog of documents accepted for permanent storage, monitor the status of electronic document processing for government agencies and other organizations, continue document digitization, and actively participate in cultural events in the region. The director encouraged employees to take new initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting concluded with an open discussion, where employees were able to share their ideas and suggestions for improving the archive&#8217;s operations.
