As part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, a thematic meeting entitled \u00abThe Magical World of Cinema\u00bb<\/strong> was held at the Zubrenok National Children’s Educational and Health Center<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event aimed to expand the participants’ knowledge of the \u00abMy Profile\u00bb session about the historical and technical aspects of cinema. During the meeting, the students learned about the structure and operation of the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Archive<\/strong> and how and where the heritage of Belarusian cinema is preserved.<\/p>\n

The participants were shown a documentary film created by the archive’s staff as part of the \u00abOpen Film Archive\u00bb<\/strong> project, which tells the story of the century-long history of Belarusian cinema<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This event fostered interest in historical heritage and the archivist profession, as well as an understanding of the importance of preserving film documents.<\/p>\n
