On December 18, 2025, an online presentation of the joint Kazakh-Belarusian publishing project \u00abParticipation of Kazakhs in the Partisan Movement in Belarus. 1941-1944\u00bb<\/strong> was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (hereinafter NARB).<\/p>\n

Oleg Leonidovich Voinov, Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>, addressed the presentation participants with a welcoming speech. He noted the close cooperation between archivists in Belarus and Kazakhstan in preserving the historical memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War and emphasized the importance of joint archivists’ work on other historical topics. Gulzira Yelibayevna Karsakbayeva, Deputy Chair of the Committee for Archives, Documentation, and Books of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, thanked Belarusian archivists for their active participation in preparing the presentation album and expressed confidence in continuing their collaboration in all areas.<\/p>\n

Gulnar Mironovna Karatayeva, author and project manager<\/strong>, discussed the background to the project’s idea for studying the participation of Kazakhstanis in the partisan movement in Belarus and reported on the progress and results of research trips by staff from the Central State Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n

Svyatoslav Valentinovich Kulinok, PhD in History, Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>, discussed the composition of documents on the participation of Kazakhstanis in the partisan movement in Belarus and their introduction into scientific circulation.<\/p>\n

Leading Researcher at the Center for Military History at the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, PhD in History, Associate Professor Anatoly Alekseevich Krivorot<\/strong> spoke about the military cooperation between Belarusians and Kazakhs during the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n
