On December 16, 2025, the regional New Year’s event \u00abFilling Our Hearts with Joy\u00bb<\/strong> was held at the State Archives in Glubokoye<\/strong>. It was organized for veterans of the trade union movement of the Vitebsk regional organization as part of the \u00abFrom the Heart\u00bb charity event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by veterans and members of the trade union from the Vitebsk regional organization, representatives of district trade union organizations (Glubokoye, Dokshitsy, Miory, Postavy, and Sharkovshchina districts), and representatives of government agencies.<\/p>\n

Alina Kapshul, Chair of the Veterans’ Council of the regional organization of the Trade Union of State Institution Employees<\/strong>, delivered a welcoming speech.<\/p>\n

Nelya Borovik, leading archivist at the State Archives<\/strong>, presented a report entitled \u00abProtecting the Rights and Interests of Workers: The Activities of Trade Union Organizations Through the Lens of Archival Documents\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event’s program, prepared by archival staff, was packed with activities. At the end of the event, participants were treated to a special gift: a film from the \u00abHistory Comes to Life in Film\u00bb section, \u00abHappy New Year, Dear Comrades!\u00bb<\/strong>, prepared by the State Film, Photo, and Sound Archive<\/strong>. The documentary footage allowed them to immerse themselves in the past, recalling significant moments and capturing the spirit of the times.<\/p>\n

The final chord was a musical surprise from Tatyana Avlasova, Head of the Document Use and Publication Department<\/strong>, and a festive ceremony presenting souvenirs from Father Frost and the Snow Maiden<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
