{"id":1022054,"date":"2025-11-26T10:49:41","date_gmt":"2025-11-26T07:49:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1022054"},"modified":"2025-11-26T10:49:41","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T07:49:41","slug":"bsamli-in-the-joint-exhibition-project-spring-in-the-sun-with-the-state-museum-of-the-history-of-belarusian-literature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1022054","title":{"rendered":"BSAMLI in the joint exhibition project \u00abSpring in the Sun\u00bb with the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 25, 2025, <strong>E.A.Makarenko, Director of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong>, took part in <strong>the opening of the joint exhibition \u00abSpring in the Sun\u00bb with the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature, the V.S.Korotkevich Museum in Orsha, the Yakub Kolas State Literary and Memorial Museum, and the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition, dedicated to <strong>the 95th anniversary of the writer V.S.Korotkevich<\/strong>, occupies two halls of <strong>the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature<\/strong> and reveals the writer&#8217;s creative world, his life and career through his use of fairy tales, and introduces his visual legacy.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors will see a rich collection of photographs, the author&#8217;s books, playbills for performances based on his works, correspondence, Korotkevich&#8217;s own drawings, as well as illustrations for his works by Belarusian artists Pyotr Drachov, Yuri Zaitsev, Valery Slauk, and others.<\/p>\n<p>Among the writer&#8217;s personal belongings, the exhibition features recognizable items of his clothing, a briefcase, a watch, smoking accessories, a mug he used during his last trip in 1984, and numerous souvenirs, including imp figurines from his famous collection.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is complemented by sculptures of Vladimir Korotkevich by Lev and Sergei Gumilevsky.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will be of interest to a wide range of visitors: schoolchildren, students of philology, teachers and members of the creative intelligentsia, researchers, and enthusiasts of Belarusian literature. <strong>The exhibition will run until March 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\"  width=\"100%\" cellpadding=\"5\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"gen_table\">\n<tr align='center'>\n<td align='center'><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1-116.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1077425\" class=\"wp-image-1077425 alignnone size-full\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align='center'>1.
