They studied the personal files of members of the Gomel People&#8217;s Militia Regiment, the memoirs of World War II veterans who participated in the defense of Gomel, and the personal files of Heroes of the Soviet Union.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the meeting, archivists organized a screening of the documentary film <strong>\u00abLiberation\u00bb<\/strong>, produced by <strong>the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong>, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Belarus&#8217;s liberation from Nazi invaders.
