Maria Mechkovskaya, an archivist from the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno<\/strong>, participated in a youth event organized by the Belaya Rus regional public organization<\/strong>, dedicated to the development of media and the role of journalism in shaping public opinion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Today, the ability to interact with the media is becoming essential for representatives of a wide range of professions. Journalism not only reflects reality but also sets the tone for public debate, shapes priorities, and helps society understand current events. This is especially significant for archivists: they popularize national documentary heritage through newspapers, television, and radio, making history accessible and understandable to a wide audience.<\/p>\n

As part of the event, Belaya Rus delegates learned about the art of media production during tours of the STV television channel<\/strong> and the Faculty of Journalism at the Belarusian State University<\/strong>. Experts held master classes and shared practical tips on how to act in front of the camera, effectively interact with journalists, and build a dialogue with the media.<\/p>\n

Particular attention was paid to media literacy and cybersecurity, as well as the prospects for the development of the Belarusian media sphere and the potential of national television.<\/p>\n

\u00abThe event was an unforgettable experience! Particularly valuable were the dialogue with experts and the unique opportunity to see firsthand how media content is created today\u00bb<\/em>, noted Maria Mechkovskaya<\/strong>, an archivist in the Document Use and Publication Department.<\/p>\n

For the specialist from Molodechno, participating was an honor\u2014representing her district and archive at such a significant event and becoming an activist of a national public association. This recognition underscores the importance of the archival profession in the modern information space and its contribution to the development of public initiatives.<\/p>\n
