On November 15, 2025, the temporary exhibition \u00abAttention! Minsk Speaking!\u00bb<\/strong> opened at the National History Museum of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Belarusian radio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This is a joint project of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (NARB), the National History Museum of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>, and the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong>. The project also features recordings of radio broadcasts provided by the General Production Center of Belarusian Radio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The centenary of Belarusian radio is a significant event in the country’s history, underscoring the importance of this media outlet for Belarusian society. Over the course of a century, Belarusian radio has become not only a source of information but also an important tool for shaping public opinion, promoting national culture and traditions, and developing national identity.<\/p>\n

The exhibition \u00abAttention! Minsk Speaking!\u00bb has become an important event not only for history buffs but also for anyone interested in the development of the Belarusian media landscape. The exhibition project covers key moments in the history of Belarusian radio, from the first experiments with broadcasting in the early 20th century to modern digital technologies.<\/p>\n

The exhibition features rare and unique materials\u2014photographs, radio equipment, posters, and video footage\u2014that illustrate the rich and diverse history of Belarusian radio broadcasting. Visitors will be able to see how radio has changed over the course of a century, from the first broadcasts to modern technologies.<\/p>\n
