{"id":1021883,"date":"2025-11-10T13:01:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T10:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1021883"},"modified":"2025-11-10T13:01:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T10:01:11","slug":"on-the-participation-of-the-state-archives-of-the-gomel-region-in-a-commemorative-rally-dedicated-to-october-revolution-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1021883","title":{"rendered":"On the participation of the State Archives of the Gomel Region in a commemorative rally dedicated to October Revolution Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 7, 2025, employees of <strong>the State Archives of the Gomel Region<\/strong> took part in a commemorative rally dedicated to the 108th anniversary of the October Revolution.<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by the leadership of the Gomel Region, the city of Gomel, members of the House of Representatives of the People&#8217;s Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, labor veterans, representatives of public associations and work collectives, and students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Great October Socialist Revolution, which took place on November 7 (October 25, old style), 1917, by the Bolshevik Party under the leadership of V.I.Lenin, forever changed the world<\/strong>. A state emerged across most of the territory of the former Russian Empire, which in 1922 became known as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, or the USSR, and which existed until 1991.
