On October 30, 2025, staff of the Zonal State Archives in Polotsk<\/strong> visited archival veteran Raisa Vasilyevna Schastnaya<\/strong>. Director Lyudmila Viktorovna Lazarenok and trade union organizer Olga Aleksandrovna Berezina<\/strong> congratulated Raisa Vasilyevna<\/strong> on her 85th birthday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Raisa Vasilyevna Schastnaya was born on October 31, 1940, in the village of Rudnya, Sestronkovsky Village Council, Polotsk District, Vitebsk Region. During the Great Patriotic War, she and her mother were in occupied territory. She graduated from the Selyavshchinskaya Secondary School in the Rossony District, the Mogilev Library Technical School, and the Moscow State Historical and Archival Institute.<\/p>\n

At the Polotsk branch of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, R.V. Schastnaya Raisa Vasilyevna began working at the Archives on October 15, 1964. Since then, her life has been inextricably linked with the archive and archival work. She worked as a senior researcher and head of the Department of Departmental Archives, Document Acquisition, and Valuation. From 1992 to 2004, she headed the Document Security and Preservation Department. From 2004 to October 2016, she served as the lead archivist in the same department. She has 52 years of archival experience, and half a century of her life and work is connected with the archive. Raisa Vasilyevna generously shared her wealth of experience and knowledge, mentoring several generations of archivists.<\/p>\n

Her life and professional experience, ability to realize her potential, hard work and integrity, and high sense of responsibility for her work have enabled Raisa Vasilyevna to achieve significant results in archival work. She has been awarded honorary diplomas from the Main Archival Administration under the Council of Ministers of the BSSR, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the BSSR, the \u00abExcellent Archival Worker\u00bb badge, and in 2008, the \u00abGreat Archivist of Belarus\u00bb badge.<\/p>\n

Raisa Vasilyevna’s professionalism, dedication to the cause, and human qualities such as kindness, honesty, integrity, and responsiveness have earned her well-deserved authority and respect among colleagues and management.<\/p>\n

The staff of the State Archives in Polotsk<\/strong> heartily congratulates Schastnaya Raisa Vasilyevna<\/strong> on her anniversary!
