On October 23, 2025, first-year students of the Brest State College of Instrument Engineering<\/strong> visited the State Archives of the Brest Region<\/strong> as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb campaign<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Staff from the Document Use and Publication Department gave the students a lecture on the history of archival affairs in Belarus, introduced them to the history of the State Archives of the Brest Region, and described the archive’s documents, including those on the history of the Great Patriotic War. During the lecture, the film \u00abOn the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Brest from Nazi Invaders\u00bb<\/strong>, produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong>, was shown.<\/p>\n

The students were given a tour of the archives, including a visit to the archive storage facility and the laboratory for the repair and restoration of archival documents.<\/p>\n
