On October 22, 2025, as part of activities aimed at fulfilling the instructions of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on optimizing document flow in national government bodies, a seminar entitled \u00abOn Improving Records Management and Archival Storage of Documents\u00bb was held at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus (Ministry of Health). The seminar was attended by heads of departments of the Ministry’s central office and employees responsible for organizing and maintaining records management. The seminar was organized by the Department of Personnel Work, Control, Records Management, and Material and Technical Development of the Main Directorate of Personnel Work and Professional Education of the Ministry of Health, headed by N.P. Kolesnikova<\/strong>, Head of the Department.<\/p>\n

The seminar was attended by A.E. Rybakov<\/strong>, Director of the Belarusian Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Science; T.A. Shevchenko<\/strong>, Head of the Records Management and Archival Formation Department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus; and N.M. Mezko<\/strong>, Head of a Sector of the same department and Curator of the Ministry of Health System.<\/p>\n

The seminar was opened by B.N. Androsyuk<\/strong>, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus, who outlined the goals and objectives of the seminar and emphasized the importance of implementing measures aimed at fulfilling Directive No.11 of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated April 2, 2025, \u00abOn Improving the Functioning of the System of Government and Administration Bodies, Strengthening Executive Discipline\u00bb.<\/p>\n

A.E. Rybakov delivered a presentation on \u00abPractical Approaches to Optimizing Document Generation and Document Flow\u00bb, in which he outlined the main areas of document generation optimization and ways and methods for reducing document flow in modern conditions, taking into account industry specifics.<\/p>\n

In her presentation, T.A. Shevchenko<\/strong> focused on practical issues of organizing office workflow and archival storage of documents. Particular attention was paid to the preparation and transfer of electronic documents for permanent storage in state archives.<\/p>\n

N.M. Mezko emphasized the need to develop a departmental list of documents for the Ministry of Health and its subordinate organizations (part of its structure and system).<\/p>\n

Following the seminar, representatives of the archival service answered questions from participants.<\/p>\n

The implementation of measures aimed at fulfilling the instructions of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus to optimize document creation and document flow, improve office workflow, and improve archival storage of documents will continue.<\/p>\n
