Sivachev in Grodno\u00bb as part of the \u00abArchives for Schools\u00bb campaign at the State Archives of the Grodno Region."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On October 20, 2025, as part of<strong> the \u00abArchives for Schools\u00bb campaign<\/strong>, <strong>the State Archives of the Grodno Region<\/strong> held two lessons for sixth-grade students of <strong>the State Educational Institution \u00abSecondary School No.26 named after A.N. Sivachev in Grodno\u00bb<\/strong> on <strong>the topics \u00abThe State Archives of the Grodno Region: History and Modernity\u00bb<\/strong> and <strong>\u00abThe Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the lesson, dedicated to the history and development of the State Archives of the Grodno Region, archive staff explained the institution&#8217;s founding, its main activities, and the composition and content of its stored documents. The students were shown the most interesting and valuable documents stored in the archive.<\/p>\n<p>During the second lesson, they were shown documentary materials illustrating the criminal activities of the occupation authorities: records of prisoners of war held in German camps, work IDs, questionnaires and medical records of citizens sent to forced labor in Germany, ghetto prisoner IDs, and many other documents.
