From October 13 to 26, 2025, Belarus will celebrate Parental Love Week<\/strong>, timed to coincide with Mother’s Day<\/strong> (October 14) and Father’s Day<\/strong> (October 21).<\/p>\n

A promotional video for the exhibition dedicated to Parental Love Week, \u00abHow wonderful and peaceful it is when parents are close!\u00bb, has been posted on the BGAKFFD YouTube channel<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Currently, the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> contains a vast collection of audiovisual documents related to the aforementioned topic. These include group family photos dating back to the early 20th century, photographs of women awarded the title \u00abMother Heroine\u00bb, photographs of members of labor and sports dynasties, and large families.<\/p>\n

Film documents on this topic are presented by the stories of the newsreels \u00abSavetskaya Belarus\u00bb and the documentaries \u00abMasters of Sports\u00bb (1960), \u00abReportage of One Day\u00bb (1961), \u00abEmergency\u00bb (1961), \u00abInitiation into Grain Growers\u00bb (1969), \u00abMom, Dad and Us\u00bb (1979), \u00ab10 Minutes about 10 Million\u00bb (1985), \u00abFather’s Line\u00bb (2000), the video films \u00abFamily\u00bb (2007), \u00abThere Will Be More of Us\u00bb (2007), \u00abGreat Happiness\u00bb (2008), the video clip \u00abMen’s Talk\u00bb (2010), the video programs \u00abRepublic Today. Year of the Mother 2006\u00bb (2006), \u00abCommon Interest. Family\u00bb (2008) and others.<\/p>\n

Events held during Parental Love Week are designed to strengthen family traditions, preserve and promote family values, foster interest in exploring the historical and cultural heritage of one’s family and homeland, and foster civic and patriotic stances.<\/p>\n
