{"id":1021549,"date":"2025-10-09T16:42:08","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T13:42:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1021549"},"modified":"2025-10-09T16:42:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T13:42:08","slug":"young-archivist-a-lesson-at-the-rechitsa-zonal-state-archives-for-world-post-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1021549","title":{"rendered":"\u00abYoung Archivist\u00bb: A Lesson at the Rechitsa Zonal State Archives for World Post Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On October 9, 2025, <strong>World Post Day<\/strong>, a lesson entitled <strong>\u00abOur Friend the Postman\u00bb<\/strong> was held at <strong>the Peresvyatovskaya Basic School in the Rechitsa District<\/strong> as part of the <strong>\u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign and the <strong>\u00abYoung Archivist\u00bb<\/strong> pilot project. <strong>Rechitsa State Archives<\/strong> staff told students in grades 2-4 about the life and work of Yevgeniya Adamovich, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and a Rechitsa postwoman, and showed them her archival documents. Using Yevgeniya&#8217;s example, the students learned about the work of a postwoman and how it benefits society.<\/p>\n<p>A fascinating quiz, <strong>\u00abPlanet Post\u00bb<\/strong>, was also held for the audience, during which students demonstrated their knowledge of the postal service.
