On October 6, 2025, a ceremonial meeting of the staff dedicated to Archivist’s Day<\/strong> was held at the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BGANTD).<\/p>\n

Acting Director of BGANTD, Grigory Stepanovich Zholnerkevich<\/strong>, congratulated the archive’s staff on their professional holiday and emphasized the importance of archives in preserving historical memory, supporting the legal system, and advancing science. He also noted that this holiday highlights the significance of the work of archivists, whose work ensures the preservation of and access to national heritage for all citizens of the Republic of Belarus. Documents stored in the archives strengthen cultural identity, confirm the social rights of citizens, and serve as an inexhaustible resource for researchers in various fields.<\/p>\n

An awards ceremony was also held for the archive’s staff.<\/p>\n

Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Kurakova<\/strong>, Head of the Information and Document Management Department, and Maxim Viktorovich Tozik<\/strong>, Head of the Records Management and Formation Department of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus, were awarded commendations from the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> for exemplary performance of official duties, high professionalism, and significant personal contribution to the implementation of the tasks assigned to the archival industry, and in connection with Archivist’s Day.<\/p>\n

Honorary Certificates of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation<\/strong> were awarded to Maria Aleksandrovna Mikhailova<\/strong>, Head of the Document Preservation and Records Management Department; Olga Konstantinovna Teternik<\/strong>, Head of the Information Retrieval Systems for Automated Archival Technologies Department; Miroslava Gennadyevna Gelman<\/strong>, Chief Accountant; Anastasia Olegovna Gritskevich<\/strong>, Economist; Vitaly Sergeevna Telepneva<\/strong>, Archivist of the Document Preservation and Records Management Department; and Vyacheslav Vitalyevich Rabetsky<\/strong>, Archivist of the Records Management and Formation Department of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus and Chairman of the Primary Trade Union of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation.<\/p>\n
