A tour by members of the Zonal State Archives in Polotsk<\/strong>, timed to coincide with Archivist Day<\/strong>, was a memorable event for all participants. This tradition continues to delight the staff with new impressions and insights.<\/p>\n

The first stop on the tour was the Neman Glass Factory<\/strong>, a unique enterprise with over a century of glassmaking history in Belarus. Participants were able to witness the entire glassmaking process, from raw material procurement to the creation of beautiful glassware. A particularly memorable visit to the company store, where everyone received a gift from the factory, was a pleasant addition to the tour.<\/p>\n

The next stop was the Adam Mickiewicz House Museum<\/strong>, which is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>. This site not only preserves the poet’s biography but also serves as an open-air museum featuring a restored noble estate from the early 19th century. Participants were able to see the house, outbuilding, barn, well, and gazebo, as well as view Mickiewicz’s personal belongings, which provided a deeper understanding of his personality and the era.<\/p>\n

The museum’s basement featured an exhibition of Mickiewicz’s books<\/strong> in 18 languages, as well as a floral display and other interesting thematic works, adding variety to the tour.<\/p>\n

After a rich program at the museum, participants went on a walking tour of Navahrudak. This beautiful city, rich in history and culture, was the perfect end to the day.<\/p>\n

Everyone, without exception, had a wonderful experience and had unforgettable memories, further confirming the importance of such events for team building and broadening employees’ horizons.<\/p>\n
