{"id":1021345,"date":"2025-09-25T09:53:54","date_gmt":"2025-09-25T06:53:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1021345"},"modified":"2025-09-25T09:53:54","modified_gmt":"2025-09-25T06:53:54","slug":"the-history-of-taste-traditions-and-technologies-of-the-meat-processing-plant-a-documentary-exhibition-at-the-zonal-state-archives-of-molodechno","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1021345","title":{"rendered":"\u00abThe History of Taste: Traditions and Technologies of the Meat-Processing Plant\u00bb, a documentary exhibition at the Zonal State Archives of Molodechno"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The staff of the Document Use and Publication Department of <strong>the Zonal State Archives of Molodechno<\/strong> have prepared <strong>a documentary exhibition dedicated to the development and establishment of the Molodechno Meat-Processing Plant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition includes documents from the archival collection that provide a comprehensive history of the meat-processing plant: the decision of the Molodechno City Council of Workers&#8217; Deputies to allocate land for the construction of a meat-processing plant, the plant&#8217;s passport, regulations, the approval of various GOST standards for the plant, and media coverage of the meat-processing plant from the 1960s to the 1990s.<\/p>\n<p>History: The Molodechno Meat-Processing Plant was established in 1939. During the Great Patriotic War, Molodechno was occupied by Nazi Germany, and the plant ceased operations. The state-owned Molodechno Meat Processing Plant resumed operations in 1944 with 22 employees (18 of whom were women).<\/p>\n<p>Since 1955, a major leap forward has been made: a new building, an artesian well, and warehouses have been constructed, bringing the workforce to over 150.<\/p>\n<p>2009 \u2013 Following the transfer of ownership to Veles-Meat LLC, comprehensive modernization, and the commissioning of modern equipment, the plant now has a production capacity of 900 tons of sausages and deli meats and 150 tons of semi-finished products per month. 2017 \u2013 The Sovlovo Pig Breeding Complex, with a capacity of 100,000 pigs per year, was commissioned; it raises exclusively Danish-bred pork. 2017 \u2013 The company received permission to ship frozen beef to China and established its own trading house there. Spring 2019 \u2013 The Polochany Pig Breeding Complex, with a capacity of 100,000 pigs per year, was commissioned.
