It reflects historical justice for the Belarusian people, who were divided in 1921 under the terms of the Treaty of Riga. On September 17, 1939, the country&#8217;s territorial unity was restored.<\/p>\n<p>In sovereign Belarus, National Unity Day was established by Decree No.206 of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated June 7, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the events dedicated to National Unity Day, a film screening of <strong>\u00abReunification\u00bb<\/strong> from the collections of <strong>the Belarusian State Film and Photo Archives<\/strong> was held, accompanied by a speech by <strong>Tatyana Vladimirovna Buevich, Deputy Director of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\"  width=\"100%\" cellpadding=\"5\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"gen_table\">\n<tr align='center'>\n<td align='center'><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/1-125.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1075173\" class=\"wp-image-1075173 alignnone size-full\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align='center'>1.
