On August 5, 2025, employees of the State Archives of the Brest Region<\/strong> took part in an event called \u00abWe Remember! We Are Proud!\u00bb<\/strong>, organized by the Brest branch of the RUE Beltelecom<\/strong> for members of the youth council of the primary trade union organization of the branch and veterans of communications.<\/p>\n

During the event, the branch employees told those present about the combat path of communications workers – participants in the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

As part of the event, the documentary film \u00abOn the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of the City of Brest from the Nazi Invaders\u00bb<\/strong> prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> was shown.<\/p>\n

Before the screening, the head of the department for the use and publication of documents, Galina Kalustova<\/strong>, told those present about the grave consequences of the Great Patriotic War for Belarus, about the occupation of Brest; she dwelled on the history of the creation of the documentary.<\/p>\n
